Stampoo Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The controller responsible for the processing of personal data handled through the Stampoo application is:

In this policy, "Stampoo", "we", "us", or "the app" refers to that controller.

2. What Stampoo is

Stampoo is a mobile application for discovering places, collecting verifiable digital stamps, following creators, exploring routes, managing venues and, in certain cases, accessing creator features and Creator Pro subscriptions.

3. What data we process

Depending on how you use Stampoo, we may process the following categories of data:

3.1 Account and authentication data

  • Email address when you sign up or log in with email and password.
  • User identifier linked to your account.
  • Data associated with Sign in with Apple, to the extent that Apple and the authentication provider supply it in order to sign you in securely.

3.2 Profile data and public content

  • Username.
  • Display name, if you complete it in the future.
  • City and country.
  • Bio.
  • Profile picture.
  • Social or website links you choose to add.
  • Social relationships inside the app, such as followers and following.

This data may be visible to other users inside Stampoo depending on the relevant feature.

3.3 Functional app usage data

  • Claimed stamps.
  • Routes, venues and content created or managed by you if you are a creator, admin, or authorized member of a venue.
  • Product interactions needed for your experience inside the app, such as progress, history, wishlist, likes, follows, and equivalent elements that are part of the Stampoo experience.

3.4 Location data

We may process location data when:

  • you search for nearby stamps or content;
  • you claim stamps linked to a location;
  • we need to verify that you were within the allowed activation radius.

In these cases, Stampoo may process:

  • latitude and longitude;
  • GPS accuracy;
  • distance from the validation point;
  • time of the claim.

In certain flows, location is required to validate that a stamp was obtained legitimately.

3.5 Camera and file data

We may process images when:

  • you scan a QR code to claim a stamp;
  • you upload an avatar image;
  • you upload artwork or thumbnails as a creator;
  • you create a private claim memory;
  • you attach images in support tickets.

3.6 Support data

If you contact support from the app, we may process:

  • the type of issue or feedback;
  • the message you send us;
  • the attached images you choose to share;
  • technical context linked to the ticket, such as app version, build, platform, operating system version, device model, screen from which the report is sent, and regional or locale settings.

3.7 Subscription and billing data

If you access or try to access Creator Pro, we process information related to your subscription status, for example:

  • internal user identifier linked to the subscription;
  • subscription status;
  • active plan;
  • validity, grace, cancellation, or expiration periods;
  • technical identifiers from the subscription provider.

Stampoo does not directly store your full bank card data inside the app. Payments and renewals are handled through Apple and the integrated subscription infrastructure providers.

3.8 Push notification data

If you accept push notifications, we process:

  • device token;
  • platform and technical environment;
  • token activation status;
  • last token activity date;
  • metadata needed to deliver the relevant notification.

4. How we obtain your data

We obtain personal data:

  • directly from you, when you sign up, complete your profile, upload content, purchase a subscription, contact support, or use app features;
  • automatically, when the app needs to process certain technical or device information to provide the service;
  • from integrated third parties acting as infrastructure providers, such as Apple, Supabase, or RevenueCat, where necessary for authentication, payments, subscriptions, or technical service delivery.

5. Purposes of processing

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • to create, maintain, and protect your account;
  • to authenticate you securely;
  • to display and manage your public profile inside Stampoo;
  • to allow you to explore places, stamps, routes, venues, and profiles;
  • to validate stamp claims, including location and QR checks where applicable;
  • to store your stamp history, progress, memories, and elements linked to your experience;
  • to allow the publication and management of stamps, routes, and venues by creators, admins, and authorized members;
  • to provide technical and functional support;
  • to deliver in-app notifications and push notifications;
  • to manage Creator Pro subscriptions, renewals, billing incidents, and purchase restoration;
  • to prevent fraud, abuse, misuse, and false claims;
  • to comply with legal obligations and defend our rights.

6. Legal basis

The main legal bases are:

  • performance of the contract or pre-contractual measures, when processing is necessary to provide Stampoo;
  • your consent, when you enable device permissions such as location, camera, or notifications;
  • compliance with legal obligations;
  • the controller's legitimate interest, for example for security, fraud prevention, system integrity, support, legal defense, and preservation of the historical accuracy of certain claims or content.

Where processing depends on device permissions, you can withdraw them at any time from iOS settings and your device configuration.

7. Device permissions

7.1 Location

Location is used to:

  • show nearby content;
  • start certain navigation or discovery features;
  • validate geolocated claims;
  • reinforce the anti-fraud integrity of the system.

7.2 Camera

The camera is used to:

  • scan activation or claim QR codes;
  • capture images for claim memories;
  • attach images to support requests, if you choose to do so.

7.3 Notifications

Notifications are used for:

  • creator access updates;
  • support;
  • management or relevant service activity;
  • other functional alerts linked to your account.

We do not make basic use of the app conditional on enabling unnecessary permissions.

8. Who we share your data with

We may disclose or allow access to personal data to providers that deliver services necessary to operate Stampoo, acting as processors or independent providers where applicable:

  • Supabase: authentication, database, file storage, and backend functions.
  • RevenueCat: technical subscription management and entitlement status.
  • Apple: Sign in with Apple authentication, in-app purchases, purchase restoration, and push notification delivery through APNs.

Data may also be disclosed when necessary:

  • to comply with a legal obligation;
  • to respond to valid requests from authorities;
  • to establish, exercise, or defend claims.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

9. Visibility of data inside the app

Within Stampoo, other users may see data that forms part of your public profile or of the content you publish or manage, such as:

  • username;
  • avatar;
  • bio;
  • city or country, if you provide them;
  • social links you choose to show;
  • content published as a creator;
  • certain social or activity counters.

Claim memories and support tickets are private under the current functional design of the app, except where authorized access by admin or support staff is necessary to provide the service.

10. Data retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above and, afterwards, for the periods required by law or needed to defend our rights.

As a general rule:

  • account and profile data are retained while your account remains active;
  • support data are retained as long as needed to resolve the issue, maintain support history, and comply with legal obligations;
  • push tokens are retained as long as they are needed to deliver notifications or until they are deactivated;
  • subscription data are retained as long as needed to manage billing, incidents, audit, and compliance.

10.1 Account deletion and historical preservation

If you delete your account, Stampoo may:

  • delete or disable your access;
  • anonymize your profile where needed to preserve the historical integrity of the system;
  • retain certain historical records, claims, memories, certificates, routes, or stamps already linked to third parties or to the truthfulness of the system, where necessary to maintain historical coherence, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or defend claims.

In particular, if you were a creator, part of your content may remain archived or anonymized so as not to break legitimate histories belonging to other users.

11. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or destruction, including access controls, permission rules, authentication, and backend and storage protection mechanisms.

However, no system is completely invulnerable and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When this happens, we will seek to ensure that appropriate safeguards exist under applicable law, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other valid protections.

13. Minors

Stampoo is not specifically directed at minors. If we detect that we have processed personal data from a minor without a sufficient legitimate basis, we may take steps to limit processing or delete the relevant account.

14. Your rights

You may exercise, where applicable, the rights to:

  • access;
  • rectification;
  • erasure;
  • objection;
  • restriction of processing;
  • portability;
  • withdrawal of consent;
  • not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, in the legally provided cases.

You may also request deletion of your account from the app when that feature is available, or contact us at nino.zip94@gmail.com.

If you believe your rights have not been properly addressed, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in Spain the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), or with the authority corresponding to your place of residence.

15. Privacy and user choices

You can manage part of your privacy through:

  • editing your profile;
  • deleting content or memories when the app allows it;
  • deleting your account;
  • configuring device permissions;
  • configuring system notifications;
  • Apple tools for purchases and subscriptions.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to adapt it to legal, technical, or product changes. We will publish the current version and update the last updated date.
